Topping our list is Vicky Kaushal a talented actor who have turned heads with his performance in films Uri, Chhava and Sam Bahadur. He has made is bollywood debut from the film Masan in 2015, the film did not perform commercially on box office but won multiple hearts for its story. Though he is consider an outsider but is actually son of Shyam Kaushal a known action director in the 90’s. His stories of living in chawl have been floated multiple times. But is believed that he grew up in a comfortable household. He was often seen at sets of film in his childhood.
He has now become one of the most known and successful actor in Bollywood. Married to Katrina Kaif, Vicky now has a well settled life. It is believed that his father had a major influence in getting him his first films. He also did a small roll in Karan Johar’s Bombay Velvet in the same year of his main lead debut.
2. Ranveer Singh
The power house of Bollywood Ranveer Singh is also someone who appears to be from outside the industry. But you might be shocked to know that he is second cousin to Sonam Kapoor and is related to Anil Kapoor and family. There have been multiple photos of him with Sonam in child hood. He made his entry in Bollywood with Band Baja Barat a rom-com in 2010 along side Anushka Sharma produced under Yash Raj Banner.
He won filmfare award for best debut for this film and the film was a box office hit. He further showed his acting skills in films like Padmavat, Baji Rao Mastani, and Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela which bought him commercial success. Now he is known for his intense roles in Bollywood. He is married to Deepika Padukone and the duo recently became parents.
3. Kiara Adwani
Kabeer Singh actress Kiara Adwani is the next name on our list. She has confessed that she changed her name from Alia Adwani to Kiara adwani before stepping into bollywood to mark her unique identity. It is a lesser known fact that Kiara is no outsider but connected to Ashok Kumar. Her family is also close to Salman Khan. Kiara made her debut from the film Fugly in 2014 after which she was seen in MS Dhoni in 2016 which rose her to fame.
Since then she has been part of multiple bollywood hits like Kabir Singh, Shershaah, Bhool Bhulaiya 2, and Good Newzz. She is married to her Shershaah co-star Siddhart Malhotra and two are soon going to become parents. She is indeed one of the most loved actress in bollywood.
4. Yami Gautam
Yami Gautam seems like one of the most natural actress in bollywood. She started her career from television and regional films. Later she made her bollywood start along side Ayushman Khurana in Vicky Donar as Ashima Roy. Later we saw her in films like Uri, A Thursday, Kaabil, Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga, Article 370 and more.
But the connection very few people know is that she is the daughter of film director Mukesh Gautam who has directed multiple Punjabi films over the year. She is now married to director Aditya Dhar whom she met on the set of Uri. She does have film connection inside bollywood and hence she might look like a complete outsider to many but she surly has some good connection within.
5. Aditi Rao Hydri
Aditi a epitome of beauty and a talented star in both south and hindi cinema. Aditi is surly full of talent and hardwork which we can see in her work. But reaching this high in bollywood was also possible due to her inside connections. You might not know that Aditi is first cousin to Kiran Rao a film director and ex wife of bollywood OG Amir Khan. They both have a royal background and there families had been ruling Hyderabad under Raja of Wanaparthy.
She has worked really hard through out her career making her hindi film debut in 2006 in Delhi 6. Since then she has been a regular name in Telegu, Tamil and Malyalam films. 6. Tabu
Tabassum Fatima Hashmi popularly known as just Tabu is a well known bollywood actress who have been working in the industry for quite some time now. She started her journey in hindi films with romance drama Pehla Pehla Pyar in 1994. Later she gave multiple hits in her career including Hum sath sath hai, Vijaypath, Biwi No.1 and more. She has received a Padma Shri in 2011 for her contribution in Indian Cinema.
Before even entering the industry she had film connections. She is the Niece of Actress Shabana Azmi who is married to Javed Akhtar. The family is highly influential in bollywood. She is still giving her best to bollywood with films like Crew, De De Pyar De, Drishyam, Bhool Bhulaiya 2 and much more.
7. Govinda
Govinda is a popular 80s actor known for his incredible dancing skills and playfully unique acting style. He has given multiple blockbusters through out his career. the list of cinematic master pieces is endless but there are some memorable classics like- Coolie No.1, Raja Babu, Hero No.1, Partner, Kyuki Mai Jhoot Nhi Bolta, Saajan Chale Sasural, Bade Miyaan Chote Miyan, and the list goes on.

8. Emraan Hashmi
Syed Emraan Anwar Hashmi, popularly known as Emraan Hashmi. He was popular during the 2000’s for performing bold scenes. He has been nominated for 4 filmfare awards He made his debut in the film Foothpath in the year 2003. He has a list of remarkable films like-Murder, Zeher, Gangster, Aashiq Banaya Aapne, Ek thi Dayan, Raaz and more.
You all would be shocked to know that he is actually related to a very popular bollywood family- The Bhatt’s. He is Alia Bhatt’s cousin and a nephew to Mahesh Bhatt. He is married to Parveen Shahani. He has been active since 2006 till present day.
