Kannappa OTT Release Date and Platform- South star Prabhas is back with other Fantasy Drama Kannappa along side Vishnu Manchu and Akshay Kumar. The film is all set to release in cinema on 27 June 2025 and is expected to make a great collection on weekend. The film has started slow with a box office collection of Rs  4.89 Cr on the first day. The film is set in ancient time where people use to live in tribes and hunters were the dominators of jungle. Kannappa played by Vishnu Manchu in the film is one of the leading character along with Prabhas playing Rudra, Akshay Kumar playing Lord shiva. The story is about a hunter boy named Kannappa who does not believe in god, but his destiny changed when lord shiva himself sends Rudra to bring him back to the path.
His transformation leads to him believing in the power of god, he saves his village from attack and develops most faith in god. The story seems to be powerful and screen play by actors is also impressive.
The film is directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, who was recently interviewed by media along with the cast. Vishnu Manchu the main lead informed the media that the film is not rushing for OTT Release and might take its own time to be released. He revealed that the OTT rights have not been given till now so that people can enjoy the theatrical release more.
The film will take up to 10 weeks to release on OTT, that is people can expect the film to be released in mid September. The OTT platform chosen by the makers for the film is likely to be Amazon Prime. Though there is no official confirmation from the makers.
